I've even taught to use the computer ... But I do not have much confidence when it comes to networking. My father gave me his old wireless router (a Linksys WRT54G). It worked pretty well, but do not connect my Blackberry with him and the PS3 are far removed from any connection that we have done ... I even got Dad to come with him monkey. However, my laptop would connect to anywhere in the house. I have this as a replacement ... and it is amazing! I do not think I had any electronic device with a simple installation. Plug it in. Connect the computer. Please insert the disk. Done! I used to use WPS with the Blackberry ... and it automatically connects to any time now. I entered the PSC PS3 and connects every time I picked it. And I swear connection is also faster wireless connection and the laptop via WiFi (probably my imagination), I could not be happier. We have only used it for a few days when the south ... I will update this review. 15 of 17 people found this review helpful. Easy installation, limited functions, constantly restart required by JW got this router set up with the same SSID and password on my previous router, and most of my units had the ability to connect without having to make any change. Configuring the router was fairly simple. Here are the advantages and disadvantages: Advantages: 1. Easy to install passwords, wireless links for auto channel selection, etc. 2. Multibeam technology - is to spread the good signal around the house. Can use with my portable devices and laptop in the garden (the router in the living room walls is 2-3 away) 3. Self-healing technology (although it is suspected, as it seems to consist of telling the router to restart itself on a certain day and time). Product description demands some analysis to find the clearest channel (I set it to automatic selection of channels .. many routers have this option). 4. Different devices -. D-Link wireless print server, desktop PC with Windows Vista, Windows XP Professional laptop, a notebook with XP Home, iPhone, Samsung S Galaxy, iPod Touch, iPhone, Wii (streaming Netflix) 7 "Android Tablet WPS configuration etc 5 (although I do not use it ... only if it works) 6 Other default configuration options available - DMZ, virtual server, MAC address filtering, Pros: .. a sample information Router (Internet settings, LAN settings , firewall settings, etc.) without connecting two Nowhere to deal with the reservation of intellectual property based on specific MAC ID -. This is very important to printers connected to LAN or WLAN enabled (or print servers) or NAS drives. Workaround, I had my printer configured with a static IP address, and make sure that the DHCP address range, the static IP to the printer The downside of this avoided to make is the router the printer does not appear in the list of clients (client list is only for customers DHCP, IP, static mode is not shown). 3. One of my computers will not connect when you restore the standby system. Solution is to reboot the router (power off, or login from another computer and do a software reboot). That has not happened with the previous router. 4. Often the wireless network printer will not print. Start your router (unplug the power cord or software restart) the problem will be solved. 5. Lack of capacity to the various ports TCPIP, configure services or restrict access hours (parental control). Conclusion: If you have a simple router and not a network printer or a NAS device, this router works well and is easy to use. More advanced users with network printers and NAS drives, or want to control access to the Internet, etc. will find the lack of these options should be included in a frustrating and fire instead. 5 of 5 people found this review helpful. I upgrade when the technology takes a leap, or when I start seeing a lot of network failure, or both. This time I had to replace a router 802.11n, but it was not dual-band (NETGEAR 3500 Series). I used the 3500 approximately 2.5 years and I started seeing more and more network failures. Perhaps because the router was old, or maybe because I'm starting to add more devices to my network and it just could not handle the traffic. Right now I have the following devices on my wireless network: (1) Desktop 2 (laptops), (1) iPhone 4, (2) iTouch (2) Sony PS3 (1) Kodak Digital Picture, (2) Flat Panel TV Streaming video. I also support a number of devices connected directly to my router, including: (1) Desktop (1) network printers (1) AT & T 3G Microcell, (1) Synology NAS (1), Sonos Bridge, (1) Vonage device . So I have many devices trying to communicate through my router Router review installation was a breeze. Out of the box, follow the quick installation guide. Turn off the modem, connect the router to the modem, connect your computer to the router, turn on the modem (2 minutes), turn on the router (2 minutes), the power of the computer (2 minutes). [...] Enter to access routers. The default configuration will get you online. They control the router's firmware updates for the NETGEAR Web site. If there are updates available, download and install. I always change the default password for the router. Configuring the wireless network is at 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz band. I called them both the same and added a 5G to 5 GHz band:). Setting security preferences (WPA2-PSK [AES] for me), type password (network password). Done. I use my Synology NAS as an FTP server that can be accessed from outside my home network, so I had to set up port forwarding. This is out of reach for most configurations. Suffice to say that this operation went well, no problems that I had a secure network and smoothly in a matter of minutes. I added the TV in the 5 GHz band with WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) and other wireless devices I added to the 2.4 GHz band with the password. The network was up and running for one week, without interruption. I am also responsible for the network to stream HD movies, moving large files from my computer to my NAS, when uploading large files to a remote backup site. No matter what I play on that router, it does not miss a beat. Pros Easy to install Easy to devices (WEP and password) a strong signal throughout the house (much better than 3500) Cool looking design, low light and reliable add (so far after one week of intensive use) Cons price reasonably could have included a knife or Gensu Salad Shooter with a router. Based on the ease of configuration, performance and reliability in heavy traffic, I recommend this router. 41 of 46 people found the following review helpful warning, beware of the country is used. I have AT & T DSL. He had an old 2Wire gateway modem / wireless router is now 8 years old and recently "upgraded" to the latest Gateway AT & T 2Wire modem / wireless router 2701HG-B (~ $ 100 in-store AT & T). While this was easy to configure your wireless performance glitchy and I had to reboot frequently and regularly reduces my MacBook Air wireless approximately every 5 minutes. I read the reviews on Amazon and the ActionTec modem / wireless routers that seemed to be a good score, so I bought the wireless N model and have been very satisfied. Advantages: 1. It is cheaper than AT & T modem / router, the second It is a bit faster (I earn around 0.2 -. 5 MPS in my download speed) 3. Wireless performance is excellent, with a greater range of AT & T modem. 4th Connections are no longer with my MacBook 5 you can actually custom name of your wireless network and create your own password, AT & T will assign a network name ("2WIREXXX") and a numeric password. All in all very pleasing, and therefore given it 5 stars. Had I known this I would never have bought AT & T modem in the first place. No wonder that the modem only get 2-3 stars on Amazon. I now sell on eBay. 20 of 21 people found the following review helpful. A bit of a problem with Qwest, but Actiontec service rocks! Work J. Inman automatic set-up is not for me. First call was Qwest. No longer manufactured by Motorola JD Hayes Recently I have started to replace the search for a modem for my aging Motorola SB4100. Because of the good reviews, I decided to buy the Motorola SB5120. Unfortunately, I found the SB5120 very hard to find (Amazon does not have it in stock at the time). The SB5101 was, but now everywhere for about $ 50. In frustration, I contacted Motorola to ask questions about the availability and the significant differences 5120-5101. The Motorola technician that I spoke to told me the reason 5120 is rare, it is no longer manufactured. He also explained that the difference between the two modems is the internal chipset. The 5120 is a TI and the 5101 is a Broadcom. . Service] was flakey so I called Comcast to come out and see what was wrong. He replaced the modem with an unnamed starving and I saw my download speed drop of 4 Mbps to 1.2 Mbps! Caramba! I called their technical again and asked him what happened. His answer: ". The table looks good, you can not trust websites speed test (dslreports in this case) and modems do not make any difference in speed" Yeah, right. I immediately bought the surfboard modem, replaced the no-name, called Comcast to the MAC address and it was 1.2 MP download immediately before the output switch the modem was happily over 4 Mbps and a completely stable connection! Cable modem makes a big difference and it is good! 60 of 62 people found this review helpful. Fast, reliable, better than the Linksys integrated by the engineer using the SB5120 to replace Linksys BEFCMU10 (version 3.0). The SB5120 works better and is much more stable. I had problems with performance and reliability of VOIP service on my cable modem Linksys Under load the Linksys cable modem has high latency and working properly. Linksys cable modem required a reboot a few times a week. (Note:. No problem with my Linksys VoIP router) with my VoIP connection SB5120 sounds better and is more stable (without rebooting cable modem is required). My total latency is smaller and web pages load much faster. The packet forwarding performance is much better with the SB5120. See all 253 customer reviews ....

Morgan I recently purchased one of these routers as a replacement for my Linksys WRT54GL, a powerful kingdom in the home network. My Linksys router is healthy and working, but let me make DHCP reservations without a 3rd party firmware upgrade, and it does not support Wireless-N. After finding a good balance between quality, functionality and price, I settled on the NetGear router. So far I am very happy with this device, though I have a few minor problems when it is created. NetGear router configuration (including this one) is simple and easy. There are two ways to configure it using the CD Wizard or manually go. For users not very familiar with networks or wireless router using the CD to start is a good option. More experienced users may prefer to work without the CD and work with the router. I chose the second of two Still recording and searching for a particular scenario is relatively easy, all divided up into several pages. Since the router settings, accessed via a browser, the manipulation of router configuration is very similar access to a Web page and should feel familiar. The name of the default user name, password and Access Management are printed on the router itself so there is no risk of losing this information at any time. I connected three laptops, one by one, to the wireless network and found my only problem with switching to this router. Because they preserve the network name and password I expected the swap to be transparent and invisible, above all, but my system, complained when he tried to connect, indicating that the network configuration has changed, but preserves the configuration, type, key and everything else. To ensure that each system had to work entirely remove the connection, then allowed me to detect each of the available wireless networks, two of them were no more incidents, but one of the laptop requires a reboot before connecting properly. Signal strength is important when it comes to wireless networks. My Linksys router gives me the signal strength very strong, and I was afraid that this new Netgear router has the same power of diffusion. Fortunately, the emission bright enough that I had no connectivity problems due to lost signals. This is * less * at par, but it seems to be stronger. My router lives on the second floor of the house while my laptop is in the basement. Once the router is configured and provided an Internet connection, ang I got a surprise - is set by default to look for firmware updates every time you enter It 'nice that access to the router becomes a frequent after a while', well in advance can be annoying to have to wait to download and then I get 'I had no connectivity issues or drops, since the implementation of this router. The reservation DHCP and MAC filtering works well, as the two advanced features that interests me most. Something I have not seen in any other router until this issue is a USB port. According to the literature, the router can be configured to provide persistent storage across the network by simply connecting a USB hard drive (or USB stick) to it. I have not tried, but I have absolutely no intention of putting this to work, making file sharing between computers simply, without having to make multiple copies. It should be noted, however, that this could be a dangerous practice if you are using to access the files the same number of points most often. Looking through the options can be set up, I took a cue-based site filtering, QoS settings, and many other features I have not for a mid-range wireless router has to see them a generous amount of features. Of course, standard features are there - firewall, MAC.

Router seems to work well for about a week and then I have trouble writing my USB drive connected. Reads work OK, but incredibly slowly. Then the router must reboot and the problems disappear for a week. 23 of 29 customers found this review helpful. Easy setup and great coverage by G. Henderson, I have this router a rating of 5 stars, based on the simplicity of installation and a very good network coverage. I bought these to replace my router to a flaky Belkin router. I have the complete configuration from my laptop to the wireless network. No breakdowns, no problems. I had a couple of my wireless devices to update their network connections associated update, but adapted to most devices without intervention. The cover is very long in my house without dead spots visible. This just started today, so have not had a chance to drive a direct connection for access over the network .. tomorrow. Will follow up with any situation that may affect my first reviews ... so far no negatives ... great product! Update: Now did this router with 2-stars. This router did not work, downloads were very slow connection and other wireless devices were problematic ... replaced by a Buffalo router that works flawlessly now. 9 of 11 people found the following review helpful. Not ready for prime time by John Nguyen The router drops connections randomly without any reason. Let me first say that this has nothing to do with Linux. Secondly, I do not know what additional Linux setup this Linksys router. The documentation that accompanies the CD (and on their website) does not mention anything about. I tried to SSH into the router and could not. I have this router with Windows Vista, Windows 7, Mac OS X and Linux machines and all of them in the broken wire problem space. When interrupted, not one of the machines I mentioned in a position to produce again. You must restart router to reconnect. The USB-shared storage is not working properly because it hangs randomly when trying to access a share. The network is never busy when this happens. Be careful when moving files, like the network glitch thus may lose data. There is only one thing I like about this wireless router. It allows you to assign fixed IP addresses to any computer via the DHCP function. This is not enough for me to keep on using it. It was returned. Linksys routers are used, the stronger, I hope this is not a sign of things now that Cisco was getting over. All 17 customer reviews ....

It was quite impressive - easy to use, easy to configure, and seemed to have great variety. Ten minutes later, however, was giving me the flashing LED - meaning that he was having a big problem. I spent the next two hours, with the support of Cisco in India trying to convince them that no matter if I was using AT & T or Verizon for my ISP - their own power LED indicates a site meant a defective router. Finally agreed to replace it - a process that will take a couple of weeks. Usually when a company has enough inventory to sell reconditioned appliances retail, there is a fundamental problem with the hardware. I suggest staying away from the revamped version - and maybe even the new product. 51 of 56 people found this review helpful. My problems with this router does not originate in the quality of the router itself (it is actually very good when working properly), but with little effort Cisco / Linksys set to "renew" their products. From my experience, / Linksys, Cisco's "quality assurance standards are so incredibly low that they have no qualms about sending you a bricked router as it happened in my case (more on that after my review) have. For now, I ignore my gripes with the company and focus only on the router Once the E3000 is actually implemented, it is very nice, very easy to use the device as someone who has bought a Linksys / Cisco can confirm the other. For the week, and I've owned this router (after getting it to work), I have not encountered any problem with the connection of wireless devices and I had no problem of connectivity (links stop / slow / low). Now my problem with Cisco / Linksys and why you should be careful to buy a refurbished routers from them: As you may have deduced from my (thin) above tips, configuration of the router can be incredibly easy or a complete nightmare. For me, my experience is of the latter as I was sent a router bricks. After setting up my router, I turned for the first time and found that not only was not connected to the Internet, the router is insensitive, except the power light was blinking. After a Google search, I found that this was a defective firmware (bricked router) and I ended up manually restore the router's firmware For those who are considering buying this router refurbished, please note that Cisco / Linksys obviously did not check that their refurbished router actually work before you throw them out the door. Actually, I do not even know if I was even investigated, taking into account that my router: a) does not work when IB was) had signs of physical damage (there is a spot visible to the case that as if someone spilled coffee look at it) C) Have you not read even with a working software CD (my drive could not, despite being in a position to a second hard drive I've tried) Literally read, so the only thing I use this router that worked, came straight out of the box was the power supply. For those of you who do not like to read all that feel: Pros: Easy to use, has a good connection between wired / wireless clients that proved so reliable (after my initial setup). Cons: Cisco / Linksys router can send a brick and / or physically damaged My advice for the purchase of refurbished goods.

Do not use the included CD, but instead chose to manually go and set up web config mode. The whole lasted maybe 45 minutes. Everything looks the same as my old WRT54G router that crawled on his way to a nursing home and that would signal every time I start the microwave died. Easy installation, lightning-fast setup port forwarding for my Xbox 360, port forwarding for my air video server for streaming video from DVR to my iPod and iPhone, turned off the firewall and made sure that VPN passthrough enabled. Set a password on the router to change the default. DHCP set to have 7 days rental. We have almost a completely wireless building. A BlackBerry, iPhone, Xbox360, netbook, two laptop computers, HTPC, HP printer and a desk. Everything is connected wirelessly, but the desktop. Definition of 5 GHz with an SSID and password, and then tried a streaming 1080i video xbox360 Xbox Live, it worked perfectly. He tried to connect the HTPC in the 5 GHz, but could not due to a problem with the PC network card (probably with a driver, I mess with it later.) Put the iPhone in 5 GHz and engaged in the transmission and video perfection like a champ. Everything else was in the 2.4GHz band. Configure the SSID and the same password I used on my old linksys router and then disconnect the old. All jumped straight into the new. Speed seems to be better at all. Function UnPnP solve some problems I had between Xbox and the means to reduce other computers. Tested VPN step to ensure that it can be reconnected to the network. The only thing I have not tried is the choice of server storage. Definitely a solid router to date. 296 of 319 people found this review helpful. Cisco connected with Jason I have read some reviews before buying this router and the E3000 really not going to buy because of bad reviews, so I want to write a review to help people understand this wireless router. There are only four things in the box the first time I understand. The router, installation disk, Ethernet cable and power supply. No instruction manual does not really think you need instructions on the installation CD. First you need to run the first CD, follow the instructions on the screen. It just basically talks about the time when he wants to relax on a connection and diagnose if it works and installed the Cisco Connect. You can use Cisco Connect, and advanced settings. I looked online for reviews from Amazon and other sites and the most common complaint is that you can use both, but you can. I experimented a bit with the advanced settings (also accessible via 192.168.1.1 1) you can access through the register on the Cisco router settings so far from the changes I made, the only parameter that you can not change the advanced settings to disable the Cisco Connect are the parameters for the 2.4 GHz settings network or wireless network name (SSID) and password. You can change the settings for the 5 GHz and can still access Cisco Connect. The reason why so many people want to change the SSID is because Cisco is connected randomly with a silly name, the extraction was quickdolphin example. I think maybe the root cause of some of the negative reviews. If you want to change the SSID of 2.4 GHz and still be able to use both Cisco Connect and change the settings using only the Cisco router's settings to Connect / Customize there you can change the router name and password after the change who want to advance in the settings. If at any time you can not access the program to Connect Cisco router that you can just simply reset and continue the installation CD again You can access customers and the parental controls off when you need it to connect to cisco. This router can.

Netgear RangeMax WNDR3700 - Fast, easy to use and rock solid by Dean Redfern This router is fast, easy to install and designed with elegance. Although this is a feature-rich high-end consumer router outside the box, I had it running in minutes. Using simple color coding 1-2-3 step installation, an expert or beginner, you can have the router up and running very quickly. Modification of two dual-band networks for different user name and password is simple, and I preferred to do it manually. After entering the firmware, the screen is divided into three groups. The left panel is the list of feature sets, such as "Wireless Setup" or the formation of a "guest network", is the central panel, the list of options for choice of features, and the right panel of the screen, explained in the simplest of terms , what are the features and options on average. There is little need to refer to the product manual or other assistance from one place and in the right place. I reached a maximum speed of each dual band when my laptop was away from the router. My throughput of 5 Ghertz connection with the "n" protocol was a blazing 300 Mbps. With my previous router, I was never able to achieve slightly faster than 130 Mbps. As in the case of the five Ghertz channel, this speed drops quickly as I moved my laptop away from the router. At 30 meters, I was one second to 100 Mbps, but still relatively fast compared to the old "G" speeds. At 2.4 Ghertz band, "g" protocol, I did not see much degradation within 50 meters of the router. I have a Netflix movie cast on an HD TV without any problem using a Toshiba laptop and a HDMI cable. There were no tensions in the image and the image quality was excellent. Unlike streaming video of the past, I have no experience of an image until the video buffer to load I connected a USB hard drive to your router and shared among the three laptops without incident. I set and read / write password for different file folders on the disk. I also made the record available for access via the Internet, and again the process was simple in design. I plan on backing up three laptops to the USB port on your router, and sharing of photos and other files with family and friends by giving them password-protected access to the IP address of my network drive based on the new disk. In total, you can create four networks on the router. One for each band of the double, and two more than the networks for each of the invited bands and double. The networks are called beautiful, as they can completely isolate guests access to sensitive information to other computers or devices on the network. (You can also open the host network, all on the web) Some of the other features worth mentioning include automatic checking for firmware updates every time you log into the router, the "parking meter", the daily, weekly and monthly use of Internet shows that there can be configured to be gas around it, and the ability to restore the firmware settings to a personal emergency backup. Regarding the latter, it would be nice to save a PDF file, what settings for each of the secure firmware configurations. The Netgear WNDR3700 replaces two Linksys routers that I had gone together, essentially a "dual band" environment. One was an older "g" device while the other was a new "n" router. Together they have done work in a mixed environment of video and Internet browsing. But WNDR3700 takes routing to a newer, faster processors with dual leadership of the band for greater speed and better range, and a feature that is very easy to use, understand and configure SIX MONTH UPDATE - This router is turned on continuously for six months and continues to run smoothly. During this period have been two firmware updates automatically.

Installation and configuration was very simple, I use the CD at all. I have my VOIP phone, Wii, 5 computers, wireless Artison Epson 800, Netflix boxes all running at the same time and using wireless "G". I look forward to optimal performance. I am a very satisfied customer and glad I decided to purchase. This product is no longer frequent disconnections and I had my wife also commented on the videos on YouTube are no longer "stop and go." I can talk on the phone, watch Netflix, children can play Wii, and the wife can watch youtube movies at the same time. I highly recommend this product. 30 of 33 people found the following review helpful. Great router. By D. Ho Pros: Great signal strength. (See full review below) Small size. (Approximately 5.6 x 5 x 0.9 9 inches not including antenna or base) color and flexibility fits my Playstation 3? Cons: Manual setting can be confusing if you do not know what you do (Lucky I'm good with technology), the shape of the connector or may not be a problem. Very low weight. May, where lines have a high voltage spike. Site not logging tool such as WPN824. I bought this router / AP to replace my Netgear WPN824v2. The Netgear has laptops and computers with large, but again lost connections with my Playstation 3 I bought this based on ratings of its predecessor, the WHR-HP-G54, which has a high rating. I was not disappointed. I live in a 2-story living room and the router is in the second floor, while my Playstation 3 is on the first. I used to get 80% -90% signal strength on my Playstation 3 with the WPN824, but it has always loses connection, or was as slow as dial-up. With the new high-powered Buffalo router is always at a constant 100% signal, and never lose connection. I have not tested the distance yet, but passing through a concrete floor and lead paint with the signal strength of 100% can not comment on the software as I prefer to use manual configuration. Compared with the WPN824 router interface that takes some getting used to, but after 5 minutes I was. WPN824 has a feature that it does not (or I can not find it) is the ability to record the sites you visit. I have some wireless connections I have to keep a grip on. Contrary to previous opinion, this product has WDS on your wireless configuration menu. It allows you to connect master, slave slave, and at the bottom. I definitely recommend it to anyone. 18 of 19 people found this review helpful. Great works, but a challenge to configure. To reread I installed two of them, using the second as a repeater. When I called technical support for help, it soon became clear that they were familiar with the capabilities of the product. They said they did not have the transponder capacity I had the reference manual to show them that he did. It took a call to get the first set-up (had to change my router settings). It took two repeater function to get the job. Now I am using the second unit to listen to my Netflix DVD to another floor of the house and in the end. Links have been rather stable and strong for the Linksys setup I've used before. Also, I'm just using the wireless g adapters on my laptop. See all 186 customer reviews ....

It is easy to configure a router that seems to work reliably and even comes with some bells and whistles remarkable. However, some of the claims of "high performance" proved to be a bit exaggerated and was not impressed with the quality of user support. SETUP (5 of 5) One of the questions most of us think before we proceed to establish something as complicated as a new router is "I'll be able to make it work for me?" The good news is that in this case, the answer must be "likely or very likely." For a basic setup, simply connect the router, run the Cisco Connect a CD on a computer equipped with a Wi-Fi adapter and ... is connected. Cisco Connect is a well-organized app that will help you to add devices to the network - and since the router is running and using any device will count once you get the password - access a guest on a separate restricted network, the parental control, test speed of your connection to the Internet and manage your router if you need to share your network for better performance, DNS and DHCP, the advanced wireless settings, security configuration, the disk if you bijlagen have one site, defining access policies and so on he is as sophisticated as you need to be and the good news is that both Connect and Cisco Router Web interface is well organized and supported by a very well written and very detailed instructions. I'll post the link to download the PDF file as a response to this review. My basic position clear a few minutes and took a few minutes to register individual devices: laptops, desktops, printers, portable devices, gaming, home servers, some Internet radio has a cable (4-port 10/100/1000 Mbps available) requires no configuration. For more sophisticated tasks, such as reserving IP addresses for the printer and a media center and "split" traffic in two separate network mapping name in the bands router frequency 2 (2.4 MHz and 5 MHz) was so easy and well covered by the manual . It is important to Cisco Connect is installed in one of the teams, if not all, first when you start is to check the status of the router and try to solve any problem, if detected. For the "last" I installed from the Cisco site and had no problems during or after installation. Performance and range (4 of 5) Depending on your customers, can the router up to 300 Gbps x 2 - replaced it was a big improvement over the router 80211g it. It is given much, that the best thing I received from my ISP is upstream from 15 Mbps downstream and 2 Mbps, but the home networks of today have a lot of internal traffic in the use of NAS devices, media servers or home server, the set to perform backups. While the router supports 802.11 a / b / g / n, the manual warns that better performance can be achieved if all 802.11n clients and the support of a single 802.11a clients can slow down the entire network if it exists. In practice, I am consistently on the 150 Mbps 5 GHz band, while in the same room about 30 feet from the router (with the exception of a few minutes each day if the signal at 5 GHz for no apparent reason - see the screenshots shown) . With a floor between 90 Mbps is possible, but the 5 GHz band was not as reliable or I could get a steady stream of 54 Mbps, sometimes better on two floors at 24 GHz between the two (the router in the basement and the computer to the second floor and on the opposite side of the house, about 70 to 80 feet away) the band of 5 MHz has become almost unusable (I inSSIDer after a few photos) and the 2.4 GHz band would have 6-24 Mbps still ok for web browsing. Computers, on the second floor just above the router to get a constant 50 to 70 Mbps on.
