If you look at the end of the connector it is not copper colored, it is silver colored. I might detect a slight hint of copper color at the right angle though, so it may be copper clad aluminum, so be gentle with it at least if you choose to get it. That said, it is Cat6 and is marked as "TIA/EIA 568B.2-1 UTP CAT6". I tested it while still coiled up with a cable certifier, and it tests good for 1000Mbps. But I don't have a true known-good copper 100ft cat6 patch cable to compare NXT/FXT and attenuation in a less than perfect environment. 2-stars off for false product description / inferior materials to stated specs. 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful.
