The best customer reviews 31 of 31 people found this review helpful. Great works of jtsao replaced a 2wire wireless modem router / DSL with it. He settles well in ATT DSL service. It works very well and both g and n wireless speeds seem right. The signal strength is better than N og, presumably with him using the 5GHz band. I use two MacBook Pro on network n and a touch of Wii and iPod in the network g. The latest firmware update allows USB storage for connecting an external USB hard drive. There were a number of features missing that I was accustomed to and 2wire router port remapping (forward an external port x to port and internal) and local DNS lookups for connected devices on the LAN. These are minor characteristics that usually are not present in consumer routers so this is not a big problem. 78 of 86 people found this review helpful. It works by San Jose Reviewers Yes, it works as promised with all the bells, whistles and glare, but some other wireless DSL have similar functionality and is priced for a little less for my old 2-wire DSL router died, I decided buy this as a replacement. I could not wait for shipping. So I bought this DSL router from a local store. I'm also disappointed by other reviews online for this DGND3300-100NAS. As I write this review. I got essentially the DSL router as a result of the Energy Star logo on the packaging. It lives in extreme temperatures in my garage, and some of the other DSL was a little too hot. It works with my AT & T DSL. I've only used in recent days, and I have no problems connecting. I will update this review if the stability changes. I've never really had wireless connectivity problems with my old router, but the new wireless router now stops at 100% signal strength throughout my house. My other router, sometimes up to 90% at the distal edge of the house I have this router on "Up to 130 Mbps at 2.4 GHz Neighbor friendly way." If you are familiar with the configuration of home routers using a Web interface, it will not be very different. It is very easy to configure. Confirmed in comparison to my 8-port gigabit switch and my 6 megabit DSL, the 802.11n standard is not very interesting compared to 802.11g. Downloading from the Internet is limited to buying my 6 megabit DSL, and wireless transfer of files to my network attached storage is limited to 100 Mbps integrated 4-port router. Now though my router supports 802.11n in case I ever such a device that needs it. I'm glad you the most secure WPA2-PSK, and there is a setting to WPA2-PSK and WPA-PSK to be used at the same time, which is useful for migrating the settings of your wireless devices. He has a minor annoyance. I'm not sure why it has so many bright blue blinking lights It looks like a disco in my cabinet now. If your DSL modem will be in a bedroom you use for sleeping or any other room that you want to keep dark, this may be a concern for you. One feature I missed from my 2wire DSL modem that I haven't found on the Netgear DSL modem is the Management Diagnostic Console. It's a hidden set of pages that provides error diagnostics and a pretty ASCII based bitloading graph. It was helpful to diagnose which radio frequencies were interfering with my DSL. In case you didn't know, telephone lines act like huge radio antennas, which interfere with the DSL signal. That's part of the reason why shielded coaxial cable from cable companies can have higher transfer speeds. Most people won't be fanatical enough to care about this missing diagnostic feature. -------------- Review update December 22, 2009 -------------- It's been a few months since I reviewed this product, and I decided to go back to the latest 2wire modem from AT&T After upgrading to the latest Netgear firmware level for this modem, I noticed the bandwidth rate became inconsistent. On several occasions the DSL Reports speed test.
