I have Comcast internet and blast Speakeasy test shows download speed of 23.5 Mbps with Motorola SB6120, Zoom5341 24.8 Mbps, so I decided to stay with Zoom5341. The installation takes about 30 minutes, call Comcast and give them the modem's MAC address. 16 of 16 people found the following review helpful. Motorola SB6120 killer, works well with ComcastHSI By AmznFan I recently purchased two Motorola SB6120 DOCSIS 3.0 Cable Modem work with Comcast and I wasted two hours to work with Comcast support and SB6120 would just not sync or relate to Comcast. I finally gave up and ordered the 5341st ZOOM 5341 was $ 5 more and I am not familiar with the ZOOM brand. Wow, it's on, spend 5 minutes on the phone with Comcast support (tell them the MAC address and make / model and wait 5 minutes), and has worked like a charm! No one can say about the durability yet, but it seems fast and so far has been stable, this is much better than the SB6120. 13 of 13 people found this review helpful. Easy installation with Comcast, it works well for Jayesh Seshadri bought this to avoid the monthly rent and still (hopefully) be covered in smart technology for a couple of years. Setting up a breeze - all I had to do was call Comcast with the new modem MAC address and make / model # and implementation of their side had a couple of minutes. There were casual connection drops in the coming days, but things well enough then stabilized. Internet performance I have Comcast 20Mbps, and was showing me around 24.5 Mbps average [...] clandestine and 23MBps, 19Mbps was with my old Comcast provided by scientists at the Atlantic DOCSIS 1.1 modem. I have not had any problems so far in the past month with this product See all 54 reviews ....
